History

Aiming to meet as Market Demand, in 1992, MCM Industry Mechanical Components Ltda. began their activities in the second floor of the Company. Thus, it began to manufacture pins, axles and pivots, with the goal of nationalizing parts that were before imported from Europe and US by Manufacturers Meters Electricity.

In 2005, with the acquisition of Swiss equipment of the Escomatic, it was possible to supply high-quality micro-machining parts, increasing, thus, its capacity and enhancing its line of products.

In the same year, MCM Ind. de Componentes Mecânicos Ltda. merged with Magnum Metalúrgica Ltda. creating Magnum Metalúrgica S/A, consolidated by innovation and quality.

Magnum Metalúrgica Ltda. was created in 1982, at the time operating with Surface Treatments, with Electrolytic Zinc Plating.

In the first year of activities, new treatments such as Chemical Nickel, Acid Tinning, Electrolytic Cadmium, Manganese Phosphate and Aluminum Chromate had been implemented. In 1990, the company moved its facilities to the city of Cachoeirinha, near Porto Alegre city.
